If you haven't given it a try, you need to. Very good appetizers, entrees and desserts. Started with the fried green beans and hushpuppies, then had the crawfish etouffee and finished with thin mint cheescake. All top quality.
Make sure and get there early (by 5) otherwise you will be waiting. Especially on Fri, Sat.

Go-Go's is definitely worth a drive to Boyd. Everything was good but the crab cakes are world class. I usually get the "T.V. Dinner" that's served in a sushi Bento Box. Comes with Shrimp & Grits, an excellent salad, a crabcake w/slaw & remoulade, & bowl of chicken/sausage gumbo. Great stuff! http://www.gogogumbo.com/

Awesome meals and desserts!~ NY-France-Up scale menu selections cooked to perfection-- the chef is top notch! plus other basic selections- down to earth decor and setting-- in fact ate there last night-- had the Chilean Sea Bass- scrumpous and the green beans dipped tempura were terrif! Too bad as there was a 1.5-2 hour wait-- went at 5:45PM-- much better to go on week days then Fri- Sat or get there at 4-4:30 PM when it opens-- BYOB facilty-- so you can have a drink or two if so inclined-- Regardless on wait time once you are seated the food- price- service--menu selection-- are all first class.....Decor average beach type interior- but clean-- service friendly and efficient-- dress casual or dressy if you prefer-- Fish people will feel right at home-- many fish pictures on walls-- owners must all be fishermen!! Both salt and fresh water catches galore all displayed on interior walls. Well worth the time and effort to visit in Boyd Tx. # 114 Highly recommend-

Henry David Thoreau said that "Some men fish all their lives without knowing it is really not the fish they are after." I think that I am approaching this stage, that is to have the opportunity and joy to go fishing and enjoy God's magnificent creation.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
