I will be at choke the last week of march. I have a 17 foot basstracker I know the lake is big. Will be staying at choke canyon lodge. Is there anyplace I can fish safley with my small boat and hopefully catch a few??

Thanks in advance
Bobby

If the wind is blowing out of the south, plenty of fishable water on the south banks launching from either of the park ramps.

Your fine as long as it doesn't blow over 20mph.

luckily every ramp has decent fishing nearby without having to run across the middle of the lake. I fish out of a 18' alluminum so I have extensive experience fishing all day without having to run all over. Because if the winds are over 20...you're in for a soaking rough ride if you venture out where the big boats play. All in all...you'll be fine. And good luck...hope you catch a biggun!
