I haven't really used flouro line much until the last couple of months, and have been using Berkley 100% 12lb and I find it somewhat difficult to cast sometimes. I have my brake set right. Is this a bad line? What are the better flouro lines?

I like to use P-line. I feel like it just glides and flies a mile.

Berkley 100% is ok, but not the best. I use Seguar InvizX, exclusively. Bass Pro Shops has a pretty good fluoro for the price. I've also heard good things about the Vicious Elite Fluoro but had so many problems with their original offering, I've never tried another Vicious product. I've not used the P-Line fluoro.

Seaguar InvizX is currently the best, most manageable fluoro I know of.

I find Trilene 100% to be the best. I tried Seaguar invisx, good stuff, but I like Trilene better. I spray Reel Majic on the line after each trip

seaguar and kvd spray. The spray works well for me on all line types.

I use Seagar red label and invizx with great results. Good wet knots and never have an issue with break off's, casts very smooth etc.

I bought some of that berkley a while back when it was on sale. Didn't really like the way it cast either so I pulled it off and now I use it as leader material on braid and it works great for that.

InvizX If budget allows, buy 2 or 3 thousand yd. bulk spool and save big $$$$ over filler spools.
