Got a birthday coming up and the misses is giving me a 150 bucks. Want to get a nice fishing rod. I'll be using it for soft plastics. So need some advice on this. Thanks guys

Check out Denali rods. The Jadewood series are a shade over $100. I have a couple. They are better than much higher priced rods that I own or have fished with. They are light and high quality.

Falcon buckle for sure. Although the stiffness is a lil off for me. Heavy is more medium heavy.

Ive seen 3 carrot stick wild blacks break in the last 3 weeks. TFO tactical series and the bucoo is not bad at all but not for me.

I would go with ducket or dobyns savy micro. You can get either for about $150, no tax or shipping
