Fished Sunday mid-morning thru afternoon. Best bite I had came at around 3pm to 4pm at mid lake on humps. Slab bite was decent for 30 minutes to about 45 minutes after the birds left. Lots of fat sandies but no H'brids. Lake was a muddy mess up North and very stained mid lake. 54.9 degrees was warmest water I found. Bridgeport Guide has a brand new boat! Pretty nice Keith! Anyone catch fish else where?

Re Black Lund. we came up to u in the green/white champion @ 4 after the birds had left caught few tiny sandies on finese jigs in @ 16 ft. water and a couple keeper hybrids at the dam on finese jigs. water was absolutely a mud pie. We marked a ton if fish, very few takers. We released all fish to find me on another day!

Thanks! It is a Key West Center Console. Was out riding around yesterday so the wife could get a feel for the new boat. She has 2 speeds, dead stop and WFO.
Stopped at the area for a minute and got a few solid taps, but nothing major. I think I was right in front of you Gborg.
Spent 6 hours pre-fishing Friday for a Saturday trip. Caught 4 fish (called off sat.) BP can do this from time to time when alot of freshwater hits it at once. Very similar to turnover.
But having a sustained bite yesterday is a good sign the lake is about to bust loose.
The lake has been stained for a pretty good while. As BL said it has been like that up North for a month. It should calm down pretty quick.

I hope the lake cleans up quick, It's such a wonderful lake! I was with Gborg and PSquared, it was hard day of fishing but weather was gorgeous!
