Me and my buddy Jason Barber (Kings Creek Adventures) went out this a.m. to try our hand at some Blues. We were using cut shad and cut bait and ended up with about 20 in the boat. Biggest one coming in at 31# and all from the North end of the lake. The action was fairly slow to decent, but we never really got on them hard and heavy. All in all it was a great time!

Picked up a few last Sunday night off the dock. They were in about three to four feel of water. We used shad we netted on the spot. The shad were all about 5 inches long. They were hitting when we got out there about 7pm. What's the difference between the regular small shad (one to 3 inches) and the larger shad(5 and 6 inches)? Gizzard shad?

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, โ€œI mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, thatโ€™s a storybook, man.โ€
