Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Very pricey but hmmmm is it good. As for additives, don't like them. Straight coffee for me.

Stick of cinnamon in with the coffee grinds makes an excellent pot of coffee... also a few cloves.

Probably blasphmey to say, but Starbucks Morning blend or French roast both make a damned fine pot of coffee.

Central Market has a lot of good flavored coffees. I'm sure Whole Foods has the same.

Gittchee uhh clean "institutional size" can that once held peaches, corn, peas, etc.

Bend a "spout" in the can so it will pour easy.

Fill 'at can with CLEAN water up to about three fourths of the way.

Set 'is on your campfire and let it come to uhh boil.

Thow in a double-handful or JUAN VALDEZ ground coffee.

Boil of about 3 or 4 minutes and set it off'n the fire.

Throw a dash of CLEAN cold water into the coffee.

Use Vise Grips to pour some of the best coffee you ever tasted.

My grandparents made their coffee like that.. About a 1 qt. size "coffee pot" (it looked like a a cowboy coffee pot), fill it about 3/4 with water, toss in about 1 cup of ground coffee, as soon as it looks to be hitting a boil take it off the heat. Let it sit a couple minutes and then pour it through a strainer into cups. This is how I got started on my half coffee/ half milk when I was about 10 yrs old..

And it's still the only way I can drink Maxwell House.
