I took a picture from that exact spot yesterday, we turned around there. and headed back out. It would mean a LOT of boat scratches to go further in than that and didn't seem like it would be a good place to spin a hub or break down.

We fished from Mon-Fri, got home late last night and I'm sorry, we just didn't see the crowds everybody else is complaining about. Yes, little busier than last year at same time, but no issues on the water, whatsoever.

Quite a few pre-fishing for Bass Champs Mar 10. Things will probably settle down shortly after that. The fish are moving and that will help a bunch too. Hasnt taken much talent to locate the fish with all the boats and the fish locking in on one kind of structure. Snowbirds in the parks will start to head North soon and that will make a big difference in numbers of boat trailers at the ramps especially if gas prices hit $4 and over.

Fish On Beds in North Texas will do wonders for taking the pressure off the lake.

I went last Tuesday and couldn't believe the difference. Seemed like a Ghost Town compared to the day I made this thread. The amount of people this last time was sort of like it was last year.

Was there yesterday at Falcon.... crazy how many boats you see with "four" people fishing out of a boat.

Feel sorry for the guys out there today... 20 -25 NW winds with gusts up to 30??

If they are on Falcon today, they have lost their minds. A 25mph North wind can be very dangerous on that lake.

Partner was there yesterday and today and it looked like a parking of boats on the lake.

If you go to falcon, go on the weekends, its less crowded

We must have been fishing another Lake Falcon, then. We fished from Sunday to Friday of this last week and never did see the lake crowded. Maybe it's because we were in the backs of Mexico creeks most of the time and by Guerrero church.

My buddies were out there fishing this weekend in their kayaks! Despite the wind, they caught several toads!

I fished down there from the 18th-23rd. We parked at the state park everyday. It was more crowded than our last trip to falcon but it wasn't to bad compared the way fork can get. The crowds were much more respectful on falcon also.

I saw those guys in Valeno Friday. Crazy paddling around in that wind!
