Mark,
Went up there Sunday evening for the last hour of the day. Drove south to the Blue Hole (still muddy). Did mark a bunch of fish there. the water near the bridge is settling out. Ran out of daylight so i did not go upstream. Talked to one angler who caught a few in Sanchez creek (he said it was not muddy in the back of the creek). Granbury is settling out too. Should be good now.
The trinity in WhiskeY Flats is on!
Good luck,

Fished Sanchez yesterday and caught 2 small sandies and 5 black bass. Sanchez is clearing up nicely and gin clear at the very back past where most folks can go....small flat bottom can get way back there.
River was still stained....fished below the bridge around some of the docks and got nothing.
Will try again next week and report back.

YEP! - My buddy called from the Bend this morning. Lots of dead fish. Probably not gonna be a season there. Question - why no offical reports from TPWD or the BRA?

I called and reported the kill to the TPWD today. They called back and are on the case even though it is a Texas Holiday. Happy Texas Independence Day everybody.

Went this afternoon from 3 to 5:30 no bites, nothing. Horseshoe bend is a deadzone of fish. A couple of other anglers out there and I asked them how their day was going, nothing as well. There are literally dead fish everywhere.
On a side note, the only fish that seem to be thriving is the gars. I had several come within a few feet of me eating all the dead fish floating down stream.

I went up Sat morning started at Blue Hole Zero.....Sanchez creek Zero.....up towards Horseshoe Bend father up more gulls hitting water found increasing numbers of shad as we went farther up and water color changed also. All signs of golden Algea. No one we talked with had caught any fish. Lots reports of dead fish below PK and read that TPWD was going to do one last Trout stocking @Hwy 16 this morning. Bet they wont last long in that water. Hope for a good rain Thursday as forecasted. Gilbo
