Congrats!!! Should be good weekend to try her out!!! ENJOY!!
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

I'm about to join the cuda club too. I just put money down on one. I will pick it up within the next week or two. It will be a tax return well spent.

I've got a Yellow jacket on hold up there as well. I'm not sure that's my favorite color, but it's bright.
like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack

How about an honest review on that new Cuda? If you give me a couple weeks (I am picking mine up in the next few days) I will have one for you. Probably will post it on my blog.

I got one a week ago and have had it out for about an hour so take that for what it is worth for my quick review. The seat is super comfortable and I was standing (a bit shaky at first) within 2 minutes of being on the water. I am a short fat guy and felt like the kayak fit me very well. No water through the scupper holes which wasn't the case with my Tarpon 140, I always kept them plugged. It paddled efficiently but I felt like the Tarpon turned a bit better (both have rudders). It seems like the rudder doesn't turn as far from side to side on the Cuda. Speaking of the rudder, the rudder keeper is the thing that annoys me most on the boat. I think I am going to add a padeye with a small bungee to hold the rudder further up. The current 'keeper' is right near the base of the rudder so on the road going 70mph, the rudder has a lot of play in it. Everything else on the boat is very well thought out. I think I will be extremely happy with this boat as I get to use it more and fish out of it. There are so many little things on this boat that make so much sense.
