I'm going to the Osage Beach/Lake of the Ozarks area the first 2 weeks of September.

Please share any info/recommendations on:
- fishing guides
- places to fish
- restaurants
- other stuff to see/do while I'm up there?

I fish for bass (spinner) and trout (fly), but am open to any recommendations you have.

There are a lot of people on there from that area.

The Lake of the Ozarks is the most heavily developed lake in the country. Trust me, you will not have a problem finding a place to eat as there are hundreds of resturants. Other stuff to do depends on your age and the age of the rest of your party. For kids there are all kinds of go karts, amusement parks, movies, etc. and for the older set along with places to eat there are hundreds of places to drink as well as clubs, jazz joints, country and western theatre type places etc. I would suggest just googling entertainment at Lake of Ozarks and see what you come up with. By the way, the more up scale resorts like Tan-Tar-A and Lodge of the 4 Seasons even have things like Bowling Alleys. Also tons of Golf Courses. Just Google Fishing Guides on the Lake of the Ozarks as well.
