 Slow day for my son and I at RC yesterday

Slow day yesterday at RC. Water temp was 64 degrees in the creek and I really expected there to be more fish. We had to work hard to get these few. Caught on jigs. I usually use shad but there were no shad to be found in the creek....I dont like that at all.

Right about now I would take a slow day like that. Been skunkded the last 2 times out.

Austin and I looked for you yesterday but figured it would be the weekend before you ventured in there.
Fished up in the front and got nothing...went further back than I have ever gone and they were in very inconspicuous places. Caught a very few in shallow water, most were in 4-6 ft. out in the creek around stumps or brush. Didnt really catch anything until after 11:00 a.m. NO shad anywhere. I was only jigging but there were a couple other guys with minnows and they werent doing any better than us.
