I went fun fishing with Jeff Kriet today and got a clinic on how to "dial in" on bass. The morning started off slow but by 2:00 he was calling his casts. Same deal Mike McClelland did on Major League Fishing. I have never called my cast the way he was. Top 5 fish today were over 20 on Lake Murray. When you think you are good, go fish with one of the Elites. They are scary good.

LOL...that is so unfair of you to tell us that Gene...:) Especially the part where you got to fish with Jeff...fishing with him on his home lake is one of the items on my bucket list...:)

It was amazing. Mad skills. I learned more in 8 hours in his boat than I would in 100 days in mine.

Well somebody smarter than me, that would be my Dad, always said look for the best and ask them to teach you what you want to learn...guess that concept is still true today...:)

He is great to spend the day with on the water. You will learn and laugh ALOT. Just don't be the spectator boat that moves in on a spot he is/has been fishing, he does not hold back.

Two bags of chips, two snickers bars and he offered me half his beef jerky stick. By the way those Uncle Ray's chips are great but I have never seen them in Texas. I bet they only sell east of here.
