hey all

Eagle Mountain is just down the road from me, I just moved here from Wisconsin. I went out on the 18th and was blanked, not even a bite. I used 4 and 6 inch senkos, lipless crank baits, deep diving cranks running down to 20 feet, basically everything I could think of. I tried dock pilings, and under boat houses, the rip rap, and some large boulders on the mid lake, eastern side, can anyone offer some advice for this weekend?

Thanks
Tom

Tom, EM is just like that sometimes. Its not the easiest lake to figure out and catch fish on.I fished it 6 hours Friday and had one bite, caught a 3 pounder on a baby rattlesnake.
Good Luck,and don't give up.

LR's right! Very Tough Lake! I would recommend a good fishfinder and lots of different lures2try! Texas rigged worms usually works all year! Good Luck!

Last question all, as far as tactics for fish this time of year, I am changing gear from smallies in about 20 feet of water, to largies, movingg into spawn, my pre spawn tactics are typically crank baits, lip less cranks and tubes, any particular baits you would recommend for this coming weekend?
