Hey there folks, wanted to give everybody a quick update about the fishing before the weekend hits and everybody gets out on the water. Hubbard has absolutely zero fish left in the main lake and is clearly not worth fishing. Every single magnum sandy and legal hybrid have moved into Rowlett Creek and the river and can only be caught on live bait and purple buzz baits. If I were y'all, I would either try Joe Pool for Hybrid or White Rock Lake for striper. Thats all the advice I can give.   hahaha! Heres a few pics of fish that came ENTIRELY from rowlett creek and dang near to lavon up the river. yup, thats where they were caught  big pile of ROWLETT CREEK ONLY fish  two excellent fishermen with obvious windburn from my mach 1 speeds heading toward ROWLETT CREEK  Very pretty sunset taken from the shores of ROWLETT CREEK  Hope everybody knows I'm kidding around. Todays take was around 60-70 sand bass and about a dozen hybrid. Kept a few for dinner and CPR'd the rest. We found water temps dang near 60 degrees today and the fish are very happy to have it. Slabs are still catching but they want em a lot faster than than have in a while. the fluke bite is all but gone (at least it has been for a few days) get u a pile of Moe's HD Sassy Shad and go to work. Hope to see everybody out there this weekend....in rowlett creek  Im heading out in t-minus 5 hours to Aransas Pass to pickup the new Bombay of Hubbard cadillac of fiberglass. Cant wait. who's going to be out next week to smear it with fish guts and break it in? Also need a few of you to break at least one locker latch and take a few chips outta the top cap. that should make it feel like a fishing boat I have a few days on spring break still open if anybody wants to go. $100 a head

Even though you took your boat out, you we still fishing in mouth of the creek.  Ill see the new ride of yours Saturday. Congrats dude! But yeah, not all the fish go up the creek, just 97% of them.

Even though you took your boat out, you we still fishing in mouth of the creek. Ill see the new ride of yours Saturday. Congrats dude! But yeah, not all the fish go up the creek, just 97% of them. Saturday next week. Gotta get all the toys installed first

Congrats on the new ride..Aransas Pass?? Thats some of my old stomping grounds, port aransas, seadrift, port oconner. You might as well break it in on some Redfish and trout...lol My Wife is down in that area (Victoria) visiting family so I'm hoping to fish friday and saturday....Have a safe trip

You forgot who will pee off side of boat and drible ( my new word according to speel ckek). Who get to go on maiden voyage? Will this boat hold the lake secrets like the old one? Or will the new S. S. Bombay unlock all the secrets of the lady of Hubbard lake!!!!!! Only time will tell???? Will scoobie find the lost bait of moe's?

Awesome Rowlett Creek report! Did your truck get towed?? Also a wise tip for Bombay's new boat. Dont transport any fillets on the new boat cuz that will attract flies!! That is all!!

What? UR driving and posting??? Just dont do it with the new boat on the back! Also, I would test the boat out in Port A first. You dont need electronics to catch monster fish there!

Yea Paul I'm with you.... Every year the lake empties as every single fish goes up the creek without a paddle! That's when I head out fishing almost nightly after the soon to come time change. But don't let the secret our LOL! May the new boat be blessed with daily limits. Happy Fishing.
