Curious about the bass fishing. I took the family camping there a while back and a couple locals told me crappie could be good off the pier but they did not know about the bass. Pulled my boat up there last fall but decided against trying to use the ramp...so went to Lonestar instead. Anyway if someone has fished it I would like to hear your opinion...and it would be great to know if the lake is up enough to use the ramp.

Haven't been there for a couple of years. Water is clear, so use lighter line. Dark worms always worked for me. It's a idle only lake. Has pickerel in it. Fish point's and the area between the island. Largest bass I've caught has been an 8lb. Area by the swimming area also is good. Hope this helps.
