Fishing the past few days has been awesome !! We have caught limits every day on white road runners. Last week was mostly small male fish however, yesterday the big female started to show up. Got a chance to take out Connor Harrison, with the Lone Star Outdoor News, on a catch and release trip. I am really looking forward to seeing the write up on Trinity River white bass.

Were you fishing north of Lake Livingston? Can you catch them behind the dam right now?

Yes we where fishing north of the lake in feeder creeks in the river. and no there is to many gates open down there.

Im hoping the dam shuts off sum gates by the end of the week

Nice report and catch!

is the river and creeks big and wide enough for a big bass boat or would a john boat be better. Planning on heading there this weekend to check it out and didnt know what I would be able to fish from.
