there is an annual pass available through the city of Grand Prairie parks and rec. i think it is 100.00 or so per year for both G.P. parks (Britton and Lloyd). I do not pay to just go bank fish for an hour or 2. i do pay if i am launching the boat and leaving my truck in the parking lot. they will ticket you if you do not put the little receipt from your envelope in your windshield!

The only thing I could find as far as passes was for loyd park. Primary pass $125 secondary pass $50. Couldn't find anything on britton as far as a yearly pass. May not be looking in right spot. Tried a few different sites. I'll just keep chunkin 5 bucks in the box.

Joe Pool doesn't count as a state park? Joe Pool If it does then the Texas State Park pass is only $70 per year.

Will there someone there to give you a slip so that you wont get ticketed No you take a envelope, tear off the ticket and drop the $5 down the slot in the enclosed envelope. Reggie

Joe Pool has a state park on it, cedar hill sp, but britton, loyd, lynn creek and webb parks are corps of engineers parks and you can't get in with a state park pass.

The park next to Lynn Creek marina lets you in free if you are a Grand Prairie resident.

I don't think Britton is officialy open. It was closed at 7:00 when I got home tonight. It's usually open until 10:00 during it's open season. Head down at your own risk until Thursday. It should be open for regular business by then.

If anyone is going to Britain Saturday, please let me know. I'd like to try it out.
I was at Loyd yesterday and they don't have the season passes in yet. The lady said it would be a few days. The pass is good for Loyd and Lynn Creek. $125

the annual pass is good for britton par as well. all the parks on the west side of the lake are run by the city of G.P. (unfortunatley).

The yearly passes are now available. We got ours Wed's. It was the ninth one issued so far. They are good at Britton, Loyd, and Lynn Creek on The Pool.
