It's a shame because Joe Pool is a nice lake and close to home, but it's been a skunkfest for me so many times.

Nothing in the creek yesterday. (walnut) Muddy water and 58 degrees. Not warm enough yet.

Spent the afternoon on my boat yesterday at JP without a nibble. As I was leaving, noticed a guy cleaning crappie near the boat launch. He had been out on his boat and had a VERY nice mess of crappie.Renewed my faith in JP. I will be out there again this morning trying to get my share of the crappie.

Gonna try my luck at Walnut Creek this afternoon. I keep going out there and getting skunked. But.... one of these days they are finally gonna be there... and well ya know.

Get in touch with Jiggin Griff the short arm one, he has been killing them out there, a pretty nice fellow and will be glad to show you the whereabouts of some good fish, tell him Sac a Lait sent you.

No crappie...was out on the bank today for an hour at JP. I landed 1 12 inch sandie and a nice fat 18 inch LMB. Other than that not much else action.

A bad fishing day to me is sitting at home.

Finally broke my skunk streak. No crappie but I caught 2 bass and 1 perch this morning banking it on Walnut Creek. 3-4 feet of water. 1 bass on jig and 1 bass and 1 perch on minnow on a slip bobber. Better than nothing. Hopefully they will be coming in there soon...
