There's no fish in that river! I actually have a cabin on the navasota, been fishing there since I was a kid. It's an awesome fairly kept secret!!
Haven't been back since it flooded the cabin last time.

i have not been there this year but they should be there. me and my dad killed them there we caught easy limits with the rain we have got lately it should be on.

Should have tons of fish stacked up deep. Plan on taking a trip out that way this weekend.

Catfishing is incredible I got a buddy that floats in a tube always bringing back coolers full and yes coolers was plural

I am new to the area(Bryan)and have never been there but would like to get up that way. Can you bank fish anywhere or do you need a boat?

Absolutely! Hwy 164 bridge just east of Groesbeck. Just park on the north side, follow the trail down, and find a spot. They're always in there when the dogwoods are blooming...and they're blooming right now! wink
