I had the wonderful opportunity to take out long time friend and client, Ernie, and his son, Collin. And it was all smiles!! They caught all of their fish slow rolling white road runners along sand bars in 4 to 5ft. Simon "Get the Net" Guide Service

Outstanding, that is less than 1 fish per minute. I can't get my fish off that fast.

Outstanding, that is less than 1 fish per minute. I can't get my fish off that fast. 2 people fishing= 2 lines in the water... Plus 1 guy(good guide) un-hooking, putting in the live well(in a boat  )easily done...5 minutes to put 2 limits on a stringer, but that's just 1 limit for the camera shot later...  Nice catch, love the Trinity River... Me, my Uncle and my Grandfather used to catch over 200(before limits) in 8 hours back in the 70's...Oh the "Good Ole Days"...  When we found them schooling, we would use 2 white crappie jigs tied up front from a 1/4 oz. Kastmaster...3 fish per cast...

Nice! Never caught that many that fast but my dad and I went to Arrowhead during Thanksgiving and caught 60+ in about 3 hours. LOL and thought we had slayed em but this is amazing. We were using cranks so we had to deal with double trebles...took about one mintue to unhook each fish and we took a pic of each fish cuz of CPR practice....i know i'm just makin up excuses!:P

Is that the Trinity river thats runs thru Dallas? Didn't know you could eat the fish out of that water.

I'm fishing above lake Livingston. And the only way i know to get to the fish is by boat.

you should switch out your treble hooks with a circle alot easier and quicker to un hook fish
plus its alot healthier for the fish u throw back

Fishing has been great off of highway 7 past Centerville, you can launch your flat bottom there for 10 bucks or fish the banks for 2 bucks a person. Lock and Dam marina right at the Trinity less than 20 minutes from Crockett.
