I want to go to Fork within the next couple weeks and was wondering yalls opinions on when you think the spawn will kick off. I went about 2 weeks ago and the water was in the low to mid 50's. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I think it's gonna kick pretty soon. Haven't been on the lake since January, but almost everyone is reporting either mid to high 50's or high 50's to low 60's. Like Bradnitro175 said, March 8th will probably be the kickoff. Full moon hits and the fish get uppity

Wish I could go on the 8th.

crying

like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack

We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

The peak will still be later in March but my fav time is on an early in the month full moon like this year. Less crowds, most fish have not seen a hook yet and giant bass in shallow water. I doesn't get any better.
