what is a good all around hook size for 10 and 12 inch worms new to fishing this size worm used to fishing 4 and 7 inch worms and use 2 0r 3 wide gap hook on these

10/0. Jk. I would use a 3/0 or jump to a 5/0. I like smaller hooks for a more natural fall.

7/0?? That sounds so huge for only a 10". To each their own I suppose. I use them in 7" senkos and mag flukes too. Big hooks keep big fish pinned better.

5/0 straight shank is fine!
Always use the biggest hook you can without altering the action of the bait while keeping in mind the cover your fishing

I like the 4/0 offset hooks for 10" worms. Most are soft and the hooks will cut through them just fine.
