Well went to Academy's today to purchase some 7000i C3's and was toying with it and saw a sticker on the bottom saying "made in china" Should I steer away from them or are they still the same quality as a sweden made Abu...never handled any exept for the 6500 C3's! Opinions?

You can get the Sweden Abu 7k's used on ebay from 75-95 bucks, and a lot of em are in Mint condition, just gotta be patient and keep bidding.
I'm gonna miss her....

There was a post on here last year discussing this and general concensus was several good reels like 7000 & rocket or something were now made in China but only the BCX was one to stay clear of..............
..'......I dont have this problem as I run spinning reels.................
...........so Im SURE ALL of mine are made in.China.............

Pure Fishing Brands Scroll down and scroll across to see all the brands! If I'm not mistaken, all Pure Fishing brands are made in China. That's a lot of brands.

Oh well...I went and bought some and now spooling up with some Team Catfish Electric Lime. If they give out they give out

I got a brand new 6500c4 today and it is stamped "made in sweeden".
If it has got a Swedish price I would pass.
