well i had a great time, i wasn't expecting to be there, but got a call at 6pm Thursday afternoon and was asked to fill in. I'v always had a great time with the atc but this one was better then the previous ones, i think. even tho i blanked 3 days in a row there, i still had a good time. congrats to rick and bubba again. lets not start a pissing match now that its all over with, after all its just fishing.

FYI, I am not or have any part of the organization of the lake fork tourney. I am only concerned with Austin.

I discovered urban fishing back in 2008 and was blown away that a thriving fishery could exist next to an old electrical power plant and a metal recycling operation with known pollution problems affecting an inner-city neighborhood. I targeted bass , perch, and catfish with good success.

On the internet, I found another fishing outlet that could be had on the bank or shore and that was carp fishing. Carp are pugnacious and can thrive in the same conditions as my sunfish and bass, so it was natural for me to fish this species and it has been a joy.

Reading Doctor Stern�s and Mike�s (atxwheeler) posts on this thread, makes me glad that I am a member of CAG because of 2 words: fun and social. This kind of guidance and properly directed passion as expressed by these 2 anglers may cause me to volunteer in some capacity to next year�s event.

What were the hot swims at ATC this year?

Don I'll answer that for ya. Day 1 was First street and pennisula tip, both putting out numbers and size. Day 2 was again Pennisula tip and 35 east, both putting out numbers and size. As pegs that put out just big fish, Pennisula tip, 35 east, Old Power Plant, First St, Discharge tip and Ballfields. Several swims put out but not big numbers or size. Ballfields also put out several buffs and 35 west put out Brid's 50+ buff.
