I hit the Vine from about 2:30 Sunday til about 6:00. I caught four, three decent ones and one smallish one. I caught them all shallow on a chatterbait with a swimbait trailer that had a chartreuse tail on it. Two came around the corner from the Katie Woods ramp, and the other two came by the damn. My largest one of the day went 3-15. The one where you see the bushes and shore line is one of my fish caught, the other two are the largest one, a side shot and a belly shot. Nice girth Garth!! laugh

The sunset was beautiful too. Light winds and the sun made for a nice afternoon on the water!!

Does anyone know what boat ramps are open? I tried to use murrell park last tuesday and it was closed due to high water. The boat ramp at Twin Coves in the Flower mound park was open but that park closes at 6pm sharp and they lock you in!. I used Silver lake marina down by the dam a couple weeks ago and it cost $10. Nice catch Grassproshops Jim!

Ok, thanks. I guess I will fight my way thru what used to be highway 114 that is now a series of detours. I dont no how all of the stores and resturants that line 114 are staying in business these days. It was extremely hard to get to Academy off 114 today when I went to buy a new reel that the Academy in Lewisville was out of.

Do you mean murrell or twin coves? Twin coves is owned by the town now so they close it every day at 6p. If you're not out of there by 6p you'll get locked in. The beat officer keeps a key to let people out because it happens so often.

Fishing has been tough this week. All boat ramps on the Grapevine side are open.
