Didn't get the boat out yesterday, but fished off the bank for two hours (3 pm to 5 pm). Had three bass up to 3 lbs. Missed one more. Fish were shallow.

Lots of fish pulling up in staging areas now. With the warmer temps you will see the bite much more conistant this week. It's going to be GOOD!!

Don't feel bad guys, I was on the best private lake in the world and it SUKKKKKKKKKKKED! Pure Floridas, barometer over 30.25 and steady, lows in the 30's, highs 55-60 with 20-30 mph winds made for a terrible weekend. We caught a few on Saturday, with one big fish and another about 5.5. Couldn't buy a bite yesterday and the one's that did bite weren't eating the bait well at all.

Saturday on Fork was tough for me too!

I fished with the McKinney Bass Club as a guest, and my partner and I had 1 fish for the day. For whatever reason, we couldn't keep them hooked up.

I stayed for another day of torture, but yesterday afternoon things got better, I caught 7 up to about 4 lbs. Nothing until about 2:00 pm. Of course now that we're all back to work, they're probaby snapping pretty good right now.

My brother and I had a tough weekend. We had 2 Friday around 3:00 PM, 5 around 10:00 0r 11:00 Saturday, and 3 around 2:00 on Sunday. Biggest was about 4 on Sunday. The weather today looks perfect.

We were the guys in the little green kayaks. It was hard work this weekend.

like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack
