Motor guide problems. NEED HELP

Trolling motor just stopped working all of a sudden. I took off the prop and there was grass wrapped tightly around the shaft. Cleaned it off but I couldn't get it to spin. What do you guys think.

Thanks Gary, where is the breaker located? It's a 109 36 volt if that helps

look in the battery compartment. black box with red button. push button should make a click. it that is the problem it should start working.
