Hey ladys, I finally located a few ladys in my area that are interested in taking a camping/fishing trip this month, and we are still trying to figure out where to go. We all live in Brenham.I've camped out in Bastrop before, with no luck in the fishing dept, but I'd really like to give another place a shot.Any suggestions? We all decided to tent camp so how difficult will it be to locate a spot? and should I call and reserve right now? If any of you have any suggestions and a number to call I would really appreciated it. Thanks!

Sorry don't live in that area so can't help. Good luck and glad you found some friends to fish with.

Thanks anyway lady on the lake,I appreciate it.
W/rocker, I never did find any ladys willing to take me along on that last post, so i never got to go, i do live kinda out of the way from most everyone on the "lady anglers forum). In response to ur question, i guess we could drive anywhere up tp 3 hrs away or so, depends on how far the other ladys want to go. Kelly gave me some links on openfrwater disc. looks pretty good, i'll have to run it by them.

highview marina out at lake bardwell at ennis . has a pay barge 4 bucks per day , if it gets cold they have a woodburning stove inside one of the barges , but you have to bring some wood unless someone brings it before you . the water is about 9 ft deep and has good potential . they have been spotty lately . there is a camoing spot before you get to the barge , its a corp of engineer lake and they have water and elec hook ups . that would be a pretty good place to fish . you could call them and ask how the fishing is before you came . sorry dont have the number handy but its on /line . buena suerte ! jesse p.s. i like your nickname
