 Spring needs to hurry.... I'm running out of projects

Fished two days this week but still had time to tear down some reels, respool, and clean the cork on the rods.  Also built this "spike-it" holder after my second leaking bottle of chartreuse/garlic gave my boat a distinctive smell.

The holder is a medium size prescription bottle. I walked around the house and garage with the spike it bottle in my hand looking for something that was the right size. My second choice was a piece of very firm foam.

I use regular dish washing soap and a little soft scrub abrasive cleaner on the handles. I'm pretty motivated about the reel cleaning but after 9-10 reels but it gets real old. I'm done for a while. This is my other recent project. It keeps my transducer from kicking up. My transducer is mounted in the recessed portion of the transom and is difficult to re-adjust on the water.
