Fished two days this week but still had time to tear down some reels, respool, and clean the cork on the rods.

Also built this "spike-it" holder after my second leaking bottle of chartreuse/garlic gave my boat a distinctive smell.

The holder is a medium size prescription bottle. I walked around the house and garage with the spike it bottle in my hand looking for something that was the right size. My second choice was a piece of very firm foam.

I use regular dish washing soap and a little soft scrub abrasive cleaner on the handles.

I'm pretty motivated about the reel cleaning but after 9-10 reels but it gets real old. I'm done for a while.

This is my other recent project. It keeps my transducer from kicking up. My transducer is mounted in the recessed portion of the transom and is difficult to re-adjust on the water.
