 Oklahoma fishing license required or not?

If one has a Texas non resident fishing license can one fish in oklahoma without an ok license?

Chu Chu 1 is right. I have a texas fishing license and am over 65 yrs. When you go to texoma you need texas and oklahoma licenses cause you can't tell where the line is. An oklahoma 1 day permit is $12.00. However because of my age, I didn't need one. That was kind of fun. But as far as old age goes, I don't recommend it.

If Texoma only you can purchase the Texoma license.

The Texoma license is only good on Texoma. So if you plan on fishing any other lakes in Oklahoma then you will need a Oklahoma license.

Hello,
i am 71 years old and i have a non resident texas fishing license and was thinking about trout fishing in beavers bend river that flows out of broken bow in south east ok. some say if one has a texas fishing license there is no requirement for an oklahoma license. they also said there is no trout stamp required.
is this true?

is this true? Texas residents 65 years of or older do not need a license to fish in OK. Just take your ID. This is because of a recripical agreement with Texas. This is wht OK residents 65 or older do not have to have a fishing license but Texas residents of that same age do...unless they were born before 193X...not sure the exact year.

The Key is Texas Resident, not texas license.
I would check with OK parks and wildlife. If Wisconsin
lets old okies fish free in WI. Then you should be good to
go. If your state gigs all nonresidents, then you will
be gigged in OK.
OK does sell 3 or 5 days passed that are not expensive,
it is a nice area up there.
