I've been fishin quite a bit in Cypress Creek, both east and west of I-45 haulin in White Bass, Drum, Sunfish etc, but with the rains we often get, the creek rises and causes what I call a "brownout" as it becomes so muddy that you can't see 1/8th on an inch into the water. So this has lead me to look for ponds in the area to fish. In Redneck fashion, I drive an ole' 1990 Isuzu Trooper... so I can get just about anywhere I want, and believe me I have pushed the limits. I have come across some interesting fishing spots. I sometimes wonder if the spots I am fishing are legal but I do respect the no trespassing signs... at least for the most part wink .

So I'm wondering if anyone else does the same thing in my area and what ponds, lakes, creeks etc have been discovered.
