20120221- Lake Amistad is starting to set up for the spawn. Bucks can be found roaming in the back of pockets and coves. With water level steadily dropping we could see a deeper spawn than normal. If targeting pre-spawn females main lake points seem to be the best target. I did see 4 beds on a spawning flat yesterday but no fish around. The lake is a little behind than past years. Shallow cranks and jerk baits seem to be the ticket for numbers. Deep bite is slow for me, and it's about time to break out those big swim baits  Last week in our club T we had a 16 1/2 lb sack for 3 fish anchored with a 8 lber, caught up the Devils on main lake points. cmon jensen let these guys think amistad sux everyone seems to think so leave it that way less boats the better atleast till end of april lol
