Caught these Tuesday morning at the Lewisville barge. Got there about 3:00 AM and the bite was on. Caught the carp, then the first buffalo,5 lbs on the barge scales(picture inside the barge) had two solid hook ups that got off before I got to see the fish. The other buff with the picture outside, was 6 lbs on the scale. The last picture is one I posted before, but can't figure out how to remove it. I had a blast. Figured out you can't tell the size of the fish by how the rod twitches. I am now offically addicted.

Underneath your photo in Photobucket you will see IMG code, click on that and it will automatically copy the link, you will know this because the link turns blue. In your case the IMG code is to the right of your picture under the word Links. Then go to the Reply Section of TFF and right click again, choose paste. What color was this fish?



It kinda looks like a river carpsucker.

The fish in the bottom photo was about the same color as the buff's in the other pictures. That is such a poor quality cell phone picture it is hard to tell much about it.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. If someone would have told me 3 months ago, that I would get this excited about fishing for a new to me, species of fresh water fish, I would have denied it. I have put in a lot of frustrating hours watching my rod twitch and not doing anything but sit there. Someone suggested just go for it, and that made the difference.
I wasn't paying much attention, but apparently the crappie bit very good on Sunday morning. Saw several people with at least 5 or 6 nice size crappie as they moved around to different areas.

Keep at it! Chum it up and you will get more and more come to your line. Especially if you are the only one fishing for rough fish. You'll get some catfish as well.
