 My neighborhood pond finally starting to spawn

Just moved into a new neighborhood last summer and heard rumors of 7lb+ bass living there. Well today they were confirmed...I walked the bank and saw several 6lb females cruising. No chance of catching them but I did manage to pick off two males that were on the bed. Finally spotted a smaller female and landed her on the first cast. Quick pic and back in she went...not bad for half an hour of work. I know what I'll be doing every evening this week!

NIce job man! I just moved to lockhart and my house has a pond in back. I went fishing last sunday and myself and 2 buddies caught 20. They were hitting spinner baits. My buddy used a buzz bait the was not working properly and worked like a spinner bait...still nailed em!

Yes it is very cool...also to watch them defend the bed. Ponds are a great place to observe this activity.
