In an effort to reduce cost to anglers we have waived all Membership fees for our Lake Fork Teams and Solo Series that begin this Saturday and Sunday on Lake Fork.

With no memberships to pay its a great way to compete while pre fishing for another event or just to give a try at tournament bass fishing for new anglers.

No pre-registration requirements and the only off limits begins at sundown on the day before the event.

Fish with who you want when you want or compete with the same team member throughout the team series for a shot at the AOY race and free entries in 2013 same series.

Its an all amature competition that does not mean there will not be some very competitive anglers, just no BASS Elite or FLW Tour Pros or Active 2012 Lake Fork Guides.

Stop fishing time for all events is 3:00PM, at that time anglers have until 3:30PM to be checked back in with Diane at the Minnow Bucket Marina Pavilion on the water front.

Thanks Tommy, I hope the anglers embrace it and come out and support the series. We hope it offers not only new anglers a good opportunity to join us as well as those who really do not have room to fish another series but can pick up a few events here and there.
We not only need to get new anglers involved we need some of the ones who have dropped out because they did not feel they could compete against the guides back to fishing. I have many friends who guide on the lake and would not want to do anything to harm those relationships. I am doing what is best for the trail and most of the guides I know understand my decision.
We want to restore the fun and fellowship of competition back to these events, that is our ultimate goal.

Registration begins at 5:00 AM at the restaurant each day.
You also can register Friday evening as well at our RV that is parked next to the pavilion on the waterfront @ The Minnow Bucket but you will still have to stop by in the morning for livewell check.
After livewell check head to your Lake Fork ramp of choice, you may launch but remain at the ramp until 6:30AM start time. Fish until 3:00PM, reel em up and head back to the Minnow Bucket pavilion on the water front and check in by 3:30PM. After check in you may bag your fish and bring them to the scales. You will have until 3:45PM to be in line at the tanks.

So why did you charge a membership on Tyler

I polled the anglers on Tyler and the majority voted on the membership to add to the Championship Payout. 70% of the membership will be returned to the Tyler championship payout.

For those of you who want to get the registration process out of the way tonight just stop by our RV parked next to the pavilion on the waterfront. We will be there and setup by 6:00pm and will take registration until 9:30pm.

I am thinking some lucky angler is going to go BIG after this warming trend earlier in the week.

I will be there until about 5:30 PM then its off to Dallas to work until about 2:30AM. We will be back at the Minnow Bucket Restaurant by 5:00AM for Sunday morning registration.
