Sorry about the quality of the video I was using my phone. Notice the white water back behind this boat as it is moving...looks like he is draging something...well he is draging his anchor and it is tied to the front of his boat...now if the rope comes loose or breaks it could be quite painful to the two people in the boat...or if it was to come loose and intangle one of them it could pull them right out of the boat with a anchor tied to them...but wait theres more...he did this over and over and over...yep right through schooling fish and birds!!! Just a tip!! I thought you might want to avoid!! Click on the photo to see video.

Joe did he have an Umbrella Rig tied on the anchor? I have been trying that same "new" method out on RH! You have to check the anchor every 15 mins? The anchor keeps the Casting Rig down in the "Strike" zone in heavy wind. I will be at Twak Saturday fine tuneN this hot new Fish CathcN "Technique" WOW! Hey was it windy when you shot that video??

Da, he is doing it so his boat doesn't go air born in the winds. Keeping it anchored down is a great idea!!!

That pic is a video if you click on it. The first time he did it, he passed right between me and Joe 20 yards from us. I was pointing at it to let him know and he just shrugged it off

One of the guys in our group with Matt said he thought it was a very, very large top water lure...lol
I understand wanting to beat the wind, but usually the anchor doesn't come out till after you turn off the motor...

We were desperate and did attempted that trolling anchor method on Monday, Joe. Good thing you didnt video us too!! Whewsh!
