It was nice meeting you the other day. Thanks for the info. We ended up with over 60 fish in less than 5 hours and also landed 2 fish over the 9lb mark. (one pushing 10lbs.) We are headed back out tomarrow afternoon and will be in the skeeter again so if you see us, say hi. Thanks again for the info.

Your very welcome. I got one over 24" and only weighed 6.6. Had to be the biggest male bass I ever seen must less caught. The pounding they got this weekend was unreal but this evening it still was almost every cast got a fish.

How can you tell the sex of a bass? Can you tell just by looking at them. I have always wondered.
The hardest thing about fishing is figuring out what the fish want to eat.

We had another good day friday. Ended up with just over 50 fish with the biggest pushing the 4 to 5lb mark and a few 3lbers in the mix too. This lake is incredible right now! There really isnt a spot on the lake that isnt holding a fish right now. Awsome lake. Hopefully I can get out there in the next couple of weeks to see If I cant find some big bedding fish.

One over 10 yesterday. Wish it had been me. My bud was fishing around the low water sign on the HH side yesterday around 11 when a guy in a john boat caught the fish. They weighed it at just over 10 but just as we were afraid of the guy put the fish on a stringer and off he went. Fred was so mad he thought about running him down but he thought better of it. What can you do. Fred said it took two of his fives to make a ten but at least his had a chance to get there because they are swimming in the lake.

I wish I had not read this post cause now I feel sick to my stomach. I talked to that guy yesterday morning while he was fishing by my dock. He had caught three small males and put them in an ice chest. He said the largest bass he had ever caught at the lake was an 11 pounder. It probably never made it back in the lake either.Oh well.

Why, Why, Why, .................I can understand the excitement of a 10, I don't know about an 11, I never caught one. Put it back for a chance at one larger. The mounts without skin are too good now to keep one. Keep a few smaller fish if you want some to eat, I don't, but it is okay. Don't do like some I have seen this week and keep a stringer so full it takes two to pull it out of the water. Let's protect this paridise we have here.
I have decided one of two things are true here at Callender................. I suck at fishing or...................................................................................................................I'm the only one with a scale.
