As my post stated over the weekend every place I looked on midlake humps and slopes I found fish and lotz of them and big ones ready to pop. Could not beleive it generally mid march to the first of april time frame when they start spawning in the lake. Last year after the real cold spell it turned 80 degrees and we started catching them at their spawning places on the lake the 1st week in March. Which was a month early by my records. Well still not beleiving what I saw sat. and sun I went back out today and spent 4 1/2 hours and saw nothing that was worth fishing over. 1 sandbass in the boat. So we can all go back to sleep for at least a couple of weeks. Johnny P.S. The longer I fish the less I know.

I hate to here it. I was hoping it was the beginning of something good. I guess we just hit it right. That does not happen to me very often.

I think He was referring to the Gator sighting last week on the north end of the lake, Johnny. There has been a picture floating around of it in one of the marinas. Those apartments off of boat club sent out a letter telling people that they are native to the area and told them to quit feeding the stray cats cause that is what is attracting the gator. Thanks for keeping us informed on Eagle Mountain condition.

Hmmm.... The Ole Ugly Eagle Mountain Gator Bait? There may be a market for them soon. I'll watch for the video of Frank field testing that one.

As soon as I get designed and made I am going to turn it over to him. I wonder what a 10 inch slab will weigh. Johnny
