Hubbard.
You'll be close to Tawakoni and your close to Dallas. Plus you don't have to worry about your stuff changing owners as much. I like Tawakoni but seems to be a lot of people that tell me that there's a lot of drugs going around there.

A lot of that depends on budget if you want to live ON the lake. Twok you can get on the water a lot cheaper than Hubbard I don't know about texoma

Trying to stay under the 200 k house market just wanting a small house by the water. Won't be for few years but trying to get some ideas. About the surrounding lakes. Got a good woman and all we want to do is fish.

Hubbard would eat you alive in county taxes. Texoma is a corp lake and you only own the view to the water. Tawak would be a good place but you have to drive miles to get to a store if you live on the less meth side. Richland Chambers seem to be the go to for the blue haired folks right now.

Learn to fish LMB and move to Fork. Great catfishing there too.

Cedar Creek Lake, a little over 70 miles from the metromess. Great crappie and blue catfishing. I catch an occasional Trashy channel cat now and then. If you don't want to spend big bucks and taxes for waterfront, get a house with a Property Owners Assoc. with a boat dock and park. I've got a place in Trade Winds in Tool and it's great.

My wife and I are kicking around the same Idea. Lakehouse (waterfront) or land with a good size tank or creek.

Would rather have a place on the lake in central Texas. Inks would be perfect, but the cost of a place there is outrageous.
