Friend needs to get out and run his boat. we have never been to Eagle Mountain so we wanted to get out there and check it out. We decided to take Monday off and head out there. Any advise about the lake would be greatly appreciated.
Is there any good action going on right now? Sandies, Crappie, Strippers, Hybrids, cats?
What particular area should be focus on?
Anything else we should be aware of?

Check between the island and the anglers club. The whites were there yesterday in force.

Hey Rob, I am definately not the resident guru (SandJohnny is the man) but I do know where I can catch a fish on Eagle. I would love to hook up with you folks out there sometime. Just let me know. The only rule is that Jan has to have one hand tied behind her back.LOL As far as hybrids go, there are very few. They have never been stocked in the lake. I have been told that the few rouges that are here are from Bridgeport. On the comment about me having my way with the fish I have been told that "even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then"
