Went at noon today to the city lake, Lake Cosden. Caught around 25 in 2 hours and not one keeper. Rained off and on for the last 2 days and the lakes around here could sure use 2 more. Man, they were thumpin' the orange/chart. hard today. Hands got cold or I woulda stayed awhile longer. Anyways, gonna continue the thread as I continue to go, so good luck and God bless.

Small community lake, about 300 acre ft. of water. Big Spring, west Texas town intersection of I20 and US87. Fishing along the dam, average depth around 10-12 ft. Put out my own structure in the form of porcupine structures and 3gal. buckets filled with willows.Home of all species, including some monster lmbs, one caught in 2009 weighed in @ 16lbs. 9oz. Great little lake!
