First, yes Packery is being dredged, its a obstacle course right now getting to the gulf, but doable.Second, plan A went out the window about 10 miles out due to semi rough to increasing chop and close swells, made running at any steady speed impossible. So we cut bait and found a honey hole closer in and loaded up with snapper. Turned a long day into a great day and had lunch and a few Shiners at Snoopy's by 1300.Nice fillets, beer and good friends, what else can ya ask for??? Later Bill Jr.
