Been there done that, Mucks are all I found, really want a shoe that can be warn early and keep dry if it happens to rain, otherwise i guess I will just throw a pair of mucks in the boat to wear if it does rain, just go to academy bass pro and or Cabelas they all have them as cheap or as expensive as you want....

I am interested also. I fish by myself plenty and around here it seems the boat ramps are a bit too flat. I can't step up on my bumper to get in the boat without putting at least one foot in the water. If I don't back in so far I can't get the boat off the trailer. I think a pair of waterproof shoes would work for me. Not too long ago some one posted on here about a brand called Simms. I may check them out.

Seal Skins Socks!
They are cheaper than most shoes and I just put them on under any shoe or boot that I want and then all waterproof questions are over.
Wish All Fair Weather And Tight Lines!

Try the Cabela's Avalanche. That is what I have found that works for me. 400-gram with Dry Plus so my feet stay warm and dry. Very comfortable for $90.

I bought a pair of rubber boots at academy for around $15. that I put on just for launching my boat. After I launch I put on my regular tennis shoes and my feet and socks stay dry all day.

If you are willing to pay $125 go to Zappos and get a pair of Te va Bishop Chukkas. Doubt you will be disappointed. They are waterproof and light weight.

You can always get a cheap pair of waders shoes. They have slip proof bottoms that work well on wet slippery boat ramps.

BPS has one similar to what your looking for on sale right now. I picked up a pair today. They're Redhead brand and on sale for $39.
