I have a 10 ft pelican 2 man boatIi had the same problem, it took up too much room in garage, Im not sure how heavy your boat and trailer is but You might be able to build something to set the trailer on and turn the trailer on its end, That way it can roll it in the gate in the back yard. I had a trailer for my 10 ft boat but I got rid of it because my boat fits in the back of my truck. I want to build dolly of some sort that I can launch the boat without having to drag it everywhere and messing up the hull. I drug it around on concrete and it gaulged up the bottom so now it leaks. Time to break out the epoxy

I keep mine parked at a local storage facility, in an enclosed unit. That way I don't have to worry about securing the electronics or equipment. The storage facility is lighted and has an electrical outlet to plug in the battery bank charger.

I guess I'm luckey to have 30 acres of space to put my boat. I've got a nice little covered area out in the pasture that the boats fits under nicely.
