Ok, My parents and I want to get the 12 foot boat we've been offered for free, but can't find a place to keep it. Our driveway is 12 feet wide at the top by our car port and our drive way is a hill. My parents own 2 cars so there is no space in our car port or in our driveway to store a boat and trailer. My mom has a 2010 GMC Acadia, my dad a 2002 Ford F150. Also, we aren't allowed to keep it in the front yard and probably cant get the trailer in our backyard and the boat wont fit in the back of my dads truck. Any ideas what we can do. Is a 12 foot Jon boat heavy? The doorway to our fence is way to small to ever be able to fit a trailer through it. The trailer that comes with the boat is a ble 1975 Dilly tilt trailer

I keep my boat parked in front of the garage, it won't fit inside the garage. If it's not at my house, I have it parked at my Mom's house.
I don't know how your house/yard is laid out, but you might me able to walk the trailer next to the house. The john boat and trailer shouldn't be too heavy.

Mine is in the garage. If you don't have any room in the front make a gate so it will fit in the backyard.

My boat has the place of honor and takes up the entire 2 car garage, (I have to park it diagonally in the garage). The car sits outside.

I designed, and built, our retirement home. I've got a BIG rear-attached garage (3 big bays and 10 ft ceilings). My Ranger lives(most of the time) in the garage. It was sure nice working on it out of the rain (man-cave style).
Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

Second garage. Best thing I have ever done for my boat. It won't be without one ever again.

I keep my boat on the water as much as possible and the trailer behind the truck at the ramp.
The other 300 days of the year its parked under some thick trees that hang over and provide shade and some protection from the elements with a cover over the boat. I don't have a garage yet. Wanting to build a shop building where the truck and boat can be hooked up and parked together inside. Thats all a pipe dream right now though.
