Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

used to fish it a lot. I have not been on it since the big rain.. Been scared to get on it with all the floaters. Should not be long for the whites to start moving up in the bosque.

I teach at mcc and if my schedule and weather come together I plan on hitting the river this next Fri. The first time or two up to the spillway area may have to be taken slow til the locations of any snags are known.

MCC is a community college in Waco. It is behind Waco damn right before the Bosque dumps into the Brazos.

I used to destroy the whites up by the dam on the bosque, the best is when they drop the river level but I'm not sure if they still do that with the new low water dam by Baylor. I ran my boat all the way up to the dam regulary but its been about six years now.
Break out the fly rod and you can catch 100 fish an evening.
