Wonder how the folks fishing Cypress Springs and Bob Sandlin are doing out in this rain this morning. Should make for an interesting time fishing with our current weather conditions

It was brutal for us. The lake to be on was Cypress. Don't think any good stringers came from Sandlin. We fished Sandlin and caught five small keepers before I fell in the lake and ruined the rest of our day. Wave hit just right. Was wearing a life jacket and got back in quick. Blew a bearing and lost a wheel after the Pines tourney, fell in the lake this one. I think I am snakebit in CAT tourneys. Kudos to everyone who caught nice sacks in horrendous weather.

Just what I was thinking, rough conditions out there today. Some brave souls fishing in that mess today.
Sounds like some nice weights though, congrats to those that fished this one!

txsmoker you put one heck of a stringer up today! Not easy at the very least by yourself! Cold wind, rain, more wind, baiting, boat control, watching depth finder, catching, landing, netting, and culling! My hats off to you! Great job!

I got me a pardner for the Livingston next month. We haven't ever fished ( or met each other) but hopefully we will be able to put up a good showing. Just looking forward to fishing some tourneys.

Way to go Team UnderDawg. Paul is proof positive that you don't need a $35,000 rig to do well in a tournament. Paul left home Sat morning; got on the water around 9. No prefishing, just planning. Caught a few good fish; got cold; went to the truck to warm up; eat lunch; back on the water and more fish. Finished with 12.65lbs and second place money I believe. If you haven't seen Paul's rig, it's a 14ft jon boat with a 4 hp kicker and troll motor. Got the job done today.
