The Boyscouts used to hold a Catfish Turney out there every year and the corps would stock it a week before the turney the pond should have some nice size cats and bass or crappie there is also a small creek that feeds off the lake when the lake is up . spot in front of the parking area is okay but water is shallow for the first 15-20 feet in try fishing off the accsess road off the rocks the water is deeper and not many people fish that area becuase it's a pain to get to .

Yes, I have.. There are fish of all sorts in there. Crappie, bass, cat.... The problem is the best fishing in on the back side where the trees are thick along the banks, Need a littel pond buster boat. Snakes are really bad as well.

When taking a kid fishing, it is a privilege to share in his or her life. Make it the best experience you can by slowing it down and taking the time to teach. The littlest things will stick for life.
