Water temp is still low 50's. Seems like average size is good but numbers are not there.
If you can stick with a jig you may surprise yourself.

This should explain it all  I did have an interesting follow - a small bass was following the white heavy float Armegeddon - I think he was trying to mate.

Haha, guess you were the guy we saw under the Little Mustang Bridge. My son thought that swim bait was a fish you caught.
We caught 2 on jigs yesterday.

We caught 2 on jigs yesterday. Yes sir, I get that a lot. That and "what the hell are you doing throwing that thing?" Your boy seemed to be having a good day. I liked it when he asked if ya'll could go borrow a couple of shiners from the guys fishing from the shore. The thought crossed my mind too...
